Rachel Willoughby Greene, MS, LPC, LCPC is a licensed professional counselor, EMDR certified practitioner, and specializes in treating trauma and stress in veterans and first responders.
She runs a private practice and offers in-office and equine-assisted therapies, and works closely with local agencies to provide critical incident debriefings, post-critical incident
counseling, and clinical oversight to peer support teams.
Rachel also serves as the female lead clinician and equine therapist for The Revenant Journey, a 5-day retreat for veterans and first responders provided by The Battle Within.
She also has a special interest in research and treatment of Moral Injury.
As the spouse of a firefighter, Rachel also has personal insight into the impacts of these professions in the home and is committed to supporting the whole family.
As an equine-assisted psychotherapy practitioner Rachel
is trained and certified in multiple equine modalities including Equilateral (equine-assisted EMDR), OK Corral, and EAGALA. She also spends time learning from equine professionals and
researchers, and of course her horses and any others she gets to work alongside.
